NZ +19: Things NZ gets right... and wrong... (2)

Opening Hours ( + )

Usefully, the
Post Office and all the major shops are open on Sunday. The Post Office also open at 7.30 in the morning so you can use it on your way to work...

Shop hours have been very handy, 'cos when you're on holiday for four weeks you forget what day it is and you suddenly find you've run out of toothpaste at 10pm on a Sunday, it's not an issue. Yes I know you can't get toothpaste from the Post Office, even in New Zealand.

The Lottery ( - )

It just has too many bloody numbers. How are you supposed to keep up???

Toilets ( + )

Half power option means water conservation...

...but full power option available to get rid of anything chunky. Apologies to anyone of a sensitive disposition. Or who was eating.

Big Brother ( - )

Wrong graphics. Wrong music. No Davina.

Hi There. Thanks for the update. You didn't use your spell check though (I did read it). You still seem to be searching for that 10/10 coffee. The picture of "George" (S & R not me) seems to have travelled well and taken him/her across the world and back on his/her first appearance day. Interesting sites explored via useful links - thanks. Painful reminders of screws in leg and legs in plaster. Take care and my best wishes to all. X Dad

Managed to get on the net in Liskeard library, and I see that there are contenders for my position of chief researcher! Still, good to catch up - now back to the sunshine........

It's the perfect hot chocolate I'm looking for, Dad! x

And Ann, you will never be usurped. These pretenders to your throne are merely my back-up while you are on hols! LOL!! xx
